Salvaged from a building in the Pacific Northwest, these early 20th century figural bust plaques draw inspiration from classical ornament, but with a fluidity of execution that alludes to Art Deco styles. The female faces, with their flowing hair, seem to emerge from within the scrolled plaques, which adorned with classical palmette and acanthus leaves.
Each bust measures 13.5 x 5 x 20.5”.
