An absolutely phenomenal 19th century trunk with an ingenious employment of brass tacks. This handsome solid wood trunk has been bedazzled 19th century style with an assortment of brass tacks and spikes; they decorate the surface with patterns, as well as the date of 1891, when the piece was made. The trunk sits on metal casters and has two beautiful old mirrors framed on the inside of the lid. A very special and unique piece.
