Not to be confused with the Seattle Cranes, who handle tossed salads and scrambled eggs, the Cleveland Crane company was founded in 1899 in (you guessed it) Cleveland, OH.  Known primarily for its overhead cranes, the company also produced smaller machinery including press brakes and power shears. This bright white and royal blue porcelain enamel sign has an early 20th-century vintage and would have been on the body of a heavy lift crane. Very good condition overall with some edge spalls (see images for details). Ca. 1930’s.
