This simple but chunky mantel was salvaged from a 1907 home and has a transitional feel. The lines of the arts and crafts movement haven’t quite straightened, leaving a bit of sinuousness in the side pillars. The original mirror is speckled from age, which adds to the romance of this small but lovely surround.
