Patented in 1873, this coffee grinder, or mill, was manufactured by the Enterprise Manufacturing Co. of Philadelphia, PA. It boasts elegant hand-painted floral details on both the hopper and wheels on a red and blue background, respectively. The drawer and lid to the hopper have small porcelain knobs. The solid cast iron design of this grinder and its wood base make it a very stable unit. Both wheels turn freely with one wood handle.
