After a merger between Thomas Edison’s Edison General Electric Company and his competitor, the Thomson-Houston Company, in 1892, the General Electric (GE) Company was born. Several of Edison’s early business offerings, such as lighting and industrial products, are still a part of GE today. This completely rewired GE spotlight sits on a four legged cast iron base. Featuring a fully rotating mount, the spotlight can be swiveled and angled to illuminate just the right spot.
