Founded in 1893 and acquired by General Electric in 1920, the Victor Electric Co. specialized in the production of x-ray machines. After merging with GE, Victor Electric Co. became known as GE X-Ray Corporation, which is proudly stated on a small plaque on this x-ray table, reading “General Electric X-Ray Corporation Victor”. A sturdy frame supports this metal-topped table which would make an excellent work surface or a retail display.
