Reverend Josiah Perry Koontz was a Methodist minister in the late 19th and early 20th century from Cumberland, PA. This window was commissioned in the early 20th century and installed in a no longer extant church in memory of Rev. Koontz’s first wife. The window is large and features a vivid combination of colors and patterning. Shades of chartreuse, mauve, mustard, and ruby create an interesting geometric tableau, bordered by a smoky blue and purple slag glass.
Please note: There is a small crack, which has been repaired with caming on one pane of the window. See images for details.
Measures 82.5 x 2 x 60.5.
