A fine relic of the golden days of railroad travel, this wash stand is well appointed with a porcelain basin adorned with a transfer ware pattern of flowers set into a marble top. Manufactured by the N.B. Bond company of Boston, MA, this wash stand would have provided a modicum of comfort to rail travelers with its pine cabinet and decorative accents. A shelf with a bonnet and carved finials lifts off to reveal the fresh water tank and cabinet with a shelf provides storage below.
