Welcome New Neighbors, Pheasant Run Winery Tasting Room and Found Photos
Welcome Pheasant Run!
We have a new neighbor in Aurora! Pheasant Run Winery
Tasting Room moved in just across the street into the turn-of-the-century “Aurora State Bank” building. Pheasant Run wines have been in the making for over 20 years but sold mainly out of state. The tasting room is being operated by members of the St. Josef’s winery family and are made at their facilities.
Next Friday, October 8th, Pheasant Run is having their Grand Opening Celebration. Come spend the day in Aurora and cap it off with food, wine and live music! The Pheasant Run festivities are from 6 – 9 pm. Hope to see you there!

I came across these photos of Aurora Mills the other day. What I love about them is they show the entire building. You can really get an idea how large this place is. It is ALL completely filled with architectural treasures. Plus, we also have the lumber yard, middle and lower warehouses and the exterior warehouse – all full! There is also a great black and white photo of Aurora Mills from the early 1900s – back when it was a seed cleaning mill. Sorry, the I can’t post the pictures from the site onto this blog but I have included the link.
